That's exactly why the Vietnamese Student Association in the UK (SVUK) brings you "Pre-departure 2026", a space to connect and gain multidimensional study-abroad insights from veteran "seniors", paired with exciting networking activities so you can build great relationships even before you take off!

And just listening isn't enough. You can interact, share your specific concerns, and get practical solutions from those who have actually overcome them.

Experience student life early through our Ice-breaking Games

Think you know all about life in the UK? Try facing the hilarious yet stressful scenarios that only international students truly understand: forgetting your bank card PIN, missing the train because you overslept, or finding decent housing at a good price. The simulated "challenges" at the event will throw you straight into those moments, where you'll figure them out with your teammates. All of this awaits you at the Pre-departure 2026 Ice-breaking Games!

Connect at the Vietsoc Booth & Exhibition

"Why didn't we meet sooner?" Trust me, having friends from back home when you first arrive in the UK is a fantastic privilege. At Pre-departure 2026, you will meet representatives from various Vietsocs (Vietnamese Student Societies at UK universities) in person at the Vietsoc Booths and Exhibition, people who can become your solid support system right when you land.

Let's enjoy a tea break, chat about everything under the sun, pocket some handy tips, and make new friends, ready for a new chapter of your life!
