SVUK LAUNCHES THE "SVUK X VIETSOC DEVELOPMENT FUND" TO SUPPORT VIETNAMESE STUDENT SOCIETIES ACROSS THE UK

The fund is established to support Vietsocs in organising meaningful and impactful activities and events for the Vietnamese student community in the UK. Through this initiative, SVUK aims to provide local societies with additional resources to develop new ideas, enhance the quality of their activities, and strengthen connections among Vietnamese students across different regions.

Under this scheme, SVUK will allocate £500 per academic term from its operational budget to support Vietsocs, with up to £100 available per Vietsoc each term. Applications will be reviewed by SVUK's Finance Department and External Relations Department based on the relevance, scale, and content of the proposed event, ensuring a transparent, fair, and effective allocation process.

Application Guidelines

Vietsocs applying for funding are kindly asked to note the following:

• Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.
• The proposed event must take place at least 14 days after the application is submitted.
• Application results, along with detailed feedback, will be sent directly to each Vietsoc.
• The fund balance and financial statements will be updated weekly to ensure full transparency
